Setup and First Use
Upon receiving your adidas Predator League Laceless FG MG boots, it's recommended to wear them for a few short sessions before full-intensity play. This 'break-in' period allows the HybridFeel upper and Primeknit collar to mold to your foot shape, optimizing comfort and fit. As these are laceless, ensure they feel snug but not restrictive right out of the box.
Compatibility
These boots feature a FG/MG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) soleplate, making them suitable for use on:
- Firm natural grass pitches: Ideal for dry to slightly damp natural grass surfaces.
- Artificial grass (3G/4G pitches): Designed to perform well on modern synthetic turf fields.
Avoid using these boots on very soft, muddy natural grass (where SG - Soft Ground studs are needed) or extremely hard indoor surfaces, as this can affect performance and durability.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning after each use: After every game or training, wipe down your boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use strong cleaners, solvents, or machine wash, as these can degrade the HybridFeel upper, Strikescale elements, and ControlPlate 2.0 soleplate materials.
