Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Being laceless, setting up these boots is straightforward:
- Entry: Gently stretch the *adidas Primeknit collar* and slide your foot into the boot. The collar is designed to be adaptive for a snug fit.
- Fit: Ensure your foot feels securely locked in. The *laceless design* provides a compressive fit around your foot. If the fit feels too loose or too tight, consider trying a different size or width, as laceless boots offer less adjustability than laced models.
- Break-in: Like all new football boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the *HybridFeel upper* to mold to your foot's unique shape.
Compatibility
These boots feature a *new FG/MG soleplate option*, meaning they are compatible with:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and dry.
- Multi-Ground (MG): A range of artificial grass surfaces. While versatile, ensure the specific artificial pitch type is suitable for FG/MG studs to prevent excessive stud pressure or damage.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, wipe the *HybridFeel upper* with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly check the *ControlPlate 2.0 soleplate* and studs for wear or damage. Timely replacement if significant damage occurs is important for safety and performance.
