Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
As laceless boots, setting up your Predator 24 Elite is straightforward:
- Preparation: Ensure your feet are clean and dry. Wear your preferred football socks.
- Putting On: Gently stretch the Primeknit collar and slide your foot into the boot. It may feel snug initially, which is normal for a performance fit.
- Adjustment: Wiggle your toes and ensure your heel is securely seated in the heel counter. The laceless design provides a consistent, locked-in feel without manual adjustment.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG). This refers to natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury.
- Fit: The laceless design offers a snug, compressive fit. It is crucial to choose the correct size for optimal performance and comfort. Refer to adidas' size guide if unsure.
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and performance of your adidas Predator 24 Elite boots, follow these care guidelines:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, wipe off excess mud and dirt using a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Stubborn Stains: For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Gently rub the affected area.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators, dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles to air out and sprinkle baking soda inside the boots to absorb odors if needed.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not machine wash or fully submerge the boots in water.
