Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the most out of your Adidas Predator 24 Elite boots, proper setup, understanding compatibility, and consistent care are essential.
Setup
- First Fit: Gently slide your foot into the boot. The Primeknit collar is designed to be snug and will stretch to accommodate your foot before providing a secure, adaptive fit.
- Initial Wear: Although laceless, it's recommended to wear the boots for a few shorter, lighter training sessions before a full match. This allows the HybridTouch 2.0 upper and Primeknit collar to naturally mold to the contours of your foot, ensuring maximum comfort and an optimal feel.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots are exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means natural grass pitches that are typically dry or slightly damp.
- Avoid Using On: Do not use these boots on Soft Ground (SG) pitches, Artificial Grass (AG or FG/AG) surfaces, or indoor courts. Using them on unsuitable surfaces can damage the studs, reduce traction, and compromise the overall durability and performance of the boots.
Care
- Post-Match Cleaning: Immediately after each use, remove any loose dirt, grass, or mud from the boots using a soft brush or a damp cloth.
- Washing: Wipe down the entire surface of the boots with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaning tools. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight, on radiators, or near other heat sources, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink. Stuffing the boots with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place when not in use. Keeping them clean and dry will extend their lifespan and maintain their performance characteristics.
