Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure your feet are clean and dry.
- Putting On: The boots feature a mid-cut slip-on construction. Gently ease your foot into the boot, ensuring the heel is properly seated against the micro-perforated heel padding.
- Lacing (Optional): If you prefer additional lockdown or a more traditional fit, thread the laces through the eyelets and tie them securely to your comfort level. The FUZIONFIT360 system is designed to provide a snug fit even without laces, but personal preference dictates this choice.
Compatibility:
These boots are designated FG/AG, meaning they are optimally designed for:
- Firm Natural Surfaces (FG): Traditional grass pitches that are not excessively wet or muddy.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches (specifically 4G).
Avoid using these boots on extremely hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the outsole studs and reduce performance.
Care:
- Cleaning after Use: After each use, remove any excess dirt and grass from the boots using a soft brush or cloth.
- Washing: Use a damp cloth with mild soap (if necessary) to gently clean the upper. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Rinse thoroughly. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (e.g., radiators), as this can cause the materials to stiffen or crack.
- Odor Control: Remove the lightweight removable sockliner to air dry separately if needed, which can help prevent odors.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain their shape and material integrity.
