Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently before putting on the boots. The FUZIONFIT360 upper is designed to adapt, so pull the laces snug but not overly tight to allow the material to conform to your foot. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find the most comfortable and secure fit.
- Break-In: Like most high-performance football boots, a short break-in period may be beneficial. Wear them for light training sessions or warm-ups before a full match to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These Puma Future 7 Ultimate boots feature an FG/AG outsole, meaning they are optimally designed for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and dry.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Do not use these boots on soft ground (SG) or indoor (IC) surfaces, as this can compromise performance, damage the boots, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off any dirt or debris with a damp cloth. For stubborn mud, use a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs for wear or damage. Ensure laces are in good condition.
