FAQs

Can I store a stove and gas bottle in the side pockets?

Yes, the side pockets are specifically designed to accommodate cooking essentials, including gas bottles, stoves, and kettles.

Is the cutlery set included with the bag?

Yes, a one-person cutlery set is included inside the large zipped front pocket.

How do I attach the bag to a barrow?

Use the two rear webbing loops to re-route the shoulder strap, allowing you to secure the bag tightly to your barrow frame.

What items fit in the padded divider section?

The divider is sized to fit the Armolife Sandwich Toaster and Armolife Marble Pans in compact or medium sizes.

Does the bag come with ice packs?

No, ice packs are not included, but the internal elastic bands are designed to help you secure your own packs effectively.

How should I clean the foil liner?

Use a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the bag is fully dry before storing it to prevent mold or odors.

Troubleshooting

Food is not staying cold for the expected duration.

Ensure the bag is packed as full as possible. Use extra materials to fill empty air gaps and increase the number of ice packs used.

Zippers are difficult to open or close.

Check for debris or food particles in the zipper track and clean with a soft brush. Ensure the bag is not overstuffed, which can cause excessive tension on the zip.

Interior liner has developed an odor.

Wipe the interior with a mixture of mild soap and warm water, then leave the bag open in a well-ventilated area until completely dry.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Comprehensive all-in-one storage for both food and cookware
Excellent thermal performance when fully packed
Includes a convenient one-person cutlery set
Durable, easy-clean interior lining
Multiple external pockets for organized gear management

Cons

Thermal efficiency drops significantly if the bag is not full
Large footprint may take up considerable space on smaller barrows
Requires manual packing of extra insulation for partially filled trips

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Begin by organizing your heaviest cookware in the large side pockets to maintain a balanced center of gravity. Store your perishable goods in the main insulated compartment, securing them with the internal elastic bands to prevent shifting.

Compatibility: The padded divider is factory-optimized for the Armolife range, specifically the sandwich toasters and marble pans (compact and medium). The shoulder strap is modular; you can move the attachment points to the rear webbing loops to fix the bag onto standard fishing barrows.

Care: The easy-clean foil liner should be wiped down with a damp cloth after every trip to prevent odor buildup or bacterial growth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the foil finish over time. Always ensure the bag is completely dry before storing it away in a dark, cool place.
