FAQs
Can I store frozen bait in this bag?
Yes, the insulated walls are designed to keep bait frozen for extended periods, especially when used with additional ice packs.
Is the bag completely waterproof?
The bag is constructed from water-resistant fabric and has a reinforced waterproof base, meaning it can withstand rain and wet ground, but it should not be submerged in water.
How do I clean the interior?
Wipe the interior lining with a damp cloth after every trip to maintain hygiene and prevent mold growth.
Is the carry handle padded?
The carry handle is reinforced for strength, making it easier to transport when the bag is fully loaded.
Can this bag fit in a standard carryall?
Due to its 34-litre capacity, it is quite large and is generally designed to be transported separately rather than inside a standard carryall.
Troubleshooting
Cooling performance is decreasing over time
Ensure that the zips are fully closed and check that you are using enough high-quality ice packs to match the volume of contents.
Difficulty closing zips due to dirt
Clean the zips with a soft brush and water to remove debris or dried bait residue that may be obstructing the teeth.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent thermal retention for long sessions
- Large 34-litre capacity accommodates significant supplies
- Water-resistant fabric protects against elements
- Reinforced base enhances durability on rough ground
- Heavy-duty construction ensures a long product lifespan
Cons
- Large form factor takes up considerable space in transport
- Weight increases significantly when fully loaded
- Requires careful cleaning to prevent odors
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply insert your pre-chilled or frozen items alongside appropriately sized ice packs. To ensure the bag remains in top condition, wipe the internal liner with a damp cloth after each use to remove any bait residue or spills. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the insulation lining. When not in use, store the bag in a dry area with the zips slightly open to allow the interior to air out and prevent moisture buildup or unpleasant odors.
