Product Information

Full details

The Korda Compac Rucksack 60 is designed for anglers who prioritize mobility and prefer carrying their gear on their back rather than using a barrow. It offers a substantial 60-litre capacity with specialized pockets for organized tackle storage, ensuring essential items remain accessible during active fishing sessions. While its robust design excels in comfort and durability, the fixed 60-litre capacity may limit users who frequently require specialized equipment beyond standard tackle essentials.

FAQs

Is the Rucksack completely waterproof?

It is made from water-resistant fabric and features a waterproof base, but it is not submersible. It will keep gear dry in standard rain conditions.

Can I fit a 12-inch tablet in the front pocket?

The front pocket is specifically designed for the Korda Tackle Box and may be too tight for standard electronic devices.

How do I clean the interior lining?

The internal lining is wipe-clean; simply use a damp cloth with mild soap to remove any residue from bait or spillages.

Does this rucksack have an external mat attachment?

No, it does not feature dedicated external straps for unhooking mats, though they can often be secured using bungee cords if needed.

What is the total size of the bag?

The overall dimensions of the rucksack are 52cm x 46cm x 32cm.

Troubleshooting

Zips becoming stiff or catching

Clean the zip tracks of any grit or dried mud using a soft brush, then apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

Shoulder straps feeling uncomfortable

Ensure the bag is balanced correctly by packing heavier items closer to the back panel and readjusting the chest strap tension.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent weight distribution for comfortable long-distance carrying
Modular design integrates perfectly with Korda EVA pouches
Reinforced waterproof base protects gear in muddy conditions
Quick-access front pocket for tackle management
Internal zipped pocket provides secure storage for valuables

Cons

Fixed capacity may be too small for long-duration expeditions
No external loops or straps for carrying extra items like unhooking mats
Requires specific Compac pouches to maximize internal organization

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the rucksack's lifespan, avoid overstuffing the main compartment, which can put unnecessary strain on the heavy-duty zippers. When adjusting the harness, start with the shoulder straps and then fasten the chest strap to prevent the load from swaying while walking. For compatibility, ensure you are utilizing the Korda Compac 100, 110, and 125 series pouches to make the most of the side storage. Maintenance is straightforward: after every session, wipe the external water-resistant fabric and the waterproof base with a damp cloth to remove grit or mud. Ensure the bag is completely dry before storing it in an indoor, ventilated area to prevent any long-term fabric degradation.
