Troubleshooting

Harness straps feel loose or uncomfortable

Adjust the 3-point harness tension systematically while wearing the pack to ensure the load is centered against your back.

Difficulty balancing the load

Pack heavier items in the internal pockets closest to the back panel to maintain a low center of gravity.

External straps are sagging

Ensure the bivvy or unhooking mat is centered before tightening the compression straps to distribute the weight equally.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Integrated rig table saves setup time in the field
3-point harness system significantly reduces fatigue
Molded EVA base prevents dampness from seeping into gear
Low profile fits easily under standard bedchairs
Modular storage options allow for efficient tackle management

Cons

Compact capacity may not suit long-stay sessions with heavy gear
Slim design limits the size of larger bulky items
Requires strategic packing to maximize the internal space

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your rucksack, keep the heavy items centered and close to your back when loading. When attaching an Atom bivvy or unhooking mat, ensure all straps are cinched tightly to prevent the load from shifting during transit.

Maintenance Tips:

Cleaning: Wipe the EVA base with a damp cloth after each session to remove mud and grit.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place; avoid leaving the bag in direct sunlight for extended periods to maintain the integrity of the fabric.
Zippers: If zippers become stiff, apply a light silicone-based lubricant to keep them running smoothly.
