Full details

The Korda Compac Carryall in Small is designed for anglers who need a reliable, organized storage solution for short sessions without sacrificing durability. FAQs

What is the total capacity of the Small Carryall?

The main compartment of the Small model provides approximately 20 litres of storage space.

Can I use the lid as a table?

Yes, the lid is specifically designed to be rigid, allowing it to function as a convenient flat table for preparing rigs or tackle.

Is the shoulder strap removable?

Yes, the carryall comes with a removable, padded shoulder strap for flexible transport options.

Are the Compac EVA pouches included?

No, the EVA pouches are sold separately, though the carryall is designed to be fully compatible with them.

How do I clean the carryall?

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents to preserve the water-resistant finish.

Does the base offer protection against water?

Yes, it features a reinforced, waterproof base to keep your contents dry when placed on the ground.

Troubleshooting

Zips feel stiff or stick during operation.

Clean the zip tracks with a soft brush to remove sand or dirt and ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper teeth.

Internal gear feels damp despite water-resistant exterior.

Ensure the lid is fully zipped and the base is not sitting in standing water for extended periods; check for any punctures in the base material.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable, water-resistant material stands up to rugged bankside conditions.
Rigid lid adds value as a practical workspace inside the bivvy.
Compact size is ideal for lightweight mobile fishing.
Excellent compatibility with modular EVA pouches for tidy storage.
Sturdy construction with heavy-duty zips ensures long-term reliability.

Cons

20-litre capacity may be too small for long-stay anglers.
Limited main compartment space for bulky items like larger bait buckets.
The Dark Kamo pattern is specific to Korda's existing gear ecosystem.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To get the most out of your carryall, organize your hardware and soft goods using the Compac EVA range to ensure everything fits snugly within the 20-litre main compartment. The bag arrives ready to use; simply attach the adjustable shoulder strap if you prefer over-the-shoulder transport.

To maintain the longevity of the carryall, wipe the exterior down with a damp cloth after particularly muddy sessions. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the water-resistant coating over time. Ensure all heavy-duty zips are kept free of grit and debris by occasionally clearing them with a soft brush, and always allow the bag to air dry fully if it has been exposed to significant moisture before storing it away.
