FAQs

Will this fit a standard-sized R2 bedchair?

No, this bag is designed specifically for compact beds like the R1 and Duralite series. It will likely be too small for the R2.

Can the shoulder strap be removed?

Yes, the padded shoulder strap is fully removable, allowing you to use only the EVA grab handles if preferred.

Is the material waterproof?

The Camolite range is highly water-resistant, protecting your bed from rain and road spray during transit, though it is not fully submersible.

Are the zippers single or double?

The bag features double heavy-duty zips, which provide easier access from either side of the bag.

How do I clean the bag?

Use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe away dirt. Do not machine wash, as this can degrade the water-resistant coating.

What is the exact weight of the bag?

The bag is constructed to be lightweight to assist with mobility; specific weight can vary, but it adds minimal bulk to your overall tackle load.

Troubleshooting

The bedchair is difficult to fit inside the bag.

Ensure all legs are fully retracted and the bed frame is locked in the closed position. Avoid storing extra bulky items inside the bag alongside the bed.

Zippers feel stiff or caught.

Check that the internal fabric lining is not trapped in the zip track. If the zipper is dirty, clean the teeth with a small brush and apply a light silicone lubricant if necessary.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Perfectly sized for compact bedchair systems
High-durability material and heavy-duty zippers
Multiple carry options including a padded shoulder strap
Signature Fox Camo aesthetic for a professional look
Stiffened EVA handles improve grip and longevity

Cons

Not compatible with large or wide bedchairs
Limited to specific compact bed models
Fixed dimensions offer no expansion room for extra bedding

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your bag, ensure the bedchair legs are fully folded and locked before sliding the bag over the frame. Because the fit is snug, avoid forcing the zips if the bed is not fully compressed, as this can strain the stitching over time.

Compatibility check: This bag is designed for compact beds like the R1 or Duralite. Before purchasing, measure your bedchair while folded to ensure it does not exceed the 95 x 80 x 22cm envelope. For care, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth after sessions to remove mud and debris. Store in a dry place to prevent mildew on the fabric, and keep the zippers free of sand or grit to maintain smooth operation.
