FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
The knit upper offers some flexibility, but these are generally designed for standard width feet. If you have particularly wide feet, they may feel snug.
Can I wear these without socks?
Yes, the interior is designed for comfort against bare feet, and the Memory Foam insole can provide a comfortable feel. However, wearing socks can help with moisture management.
How do the Hands Free Slip-ins work?
The shoes feature an extended heel counter with a supportive structure, allowing you to step into them without touching them or bending over. The Heel Pillow helps maintain the shoe's shape for easy entry.
What does 'BOBS from Skechers' commitment mean?
BOBS from Skechers partners with various animal welfare organizations to help save and support shelter animals. A portion of the proceeds from BOBS purchases goes towards these efforts.
How often should I machine wash these sneakers?
Machine washing is recommended only when necessary for cleaning. Frequent washing can shorten the lifespan of the shoe. Spot cleaning or hand washing is preferred for minor dirt.
Do these sneakers offer arch support?
The Skechers Memory Foam insole provides general cushioning and conforms to the foot. For significant arch support needs, additional orthotic inserts may be considered.
Troubleshooting
Difficulty slipping foot into the shoe
Ensure the Heel Pillow is fully retracted. Try wearing thinner socks or ensure your feet are dry. If the shoe is new, it may take a few wears to break in the lining.
Insole feels too firm or not cushioned enough
The Skechers Memory Foam insole may require a short break-in period to conform to your foot. If discomfort persists, consider using a thin, supportive insert compatible with the shoe.
Shoe loses shape after washing
Ensure the shoes are air-dried only and not put in a machine dryer. Follow the gentle cycle and cold water recommendations for machine washing.
Color transfer to socks or feet
This can sometimes occur with new dark-colored shoes. Try washing the shoes separately on a cold cycle before regular wear. It should reduce after initial washes.
