FAQs
What makes these sneakers 'Hands Free Slip-ins®'?
They feature a unique design with an enhanced collar and Heel Pillow™ that allows you to slide your foot into the shoe without needing to bend down or use your hands.
Are the laces functional?
No, the laces on this specific model are for decorative purposes only and do not adjust the fit of the shoe. The fit is achieved through the slip-on entry system.
Can I wear these for running or sports?
These sneakers are designed for casual wear and everyday comfort. They are not intended for high-impact athletic activities like running or intense training, as they may not provide sufficient support or cushioning for such uses.
How do I wash these sneakers?
You can machine wash them on a gentle cycle using cold water. Ensure you air dry them afterward; do not put them in a dryer.
What is the Heel Pillow™?
The Heel Pillow™ is an internal component designed to cradle the heel, providing extra cushioning, comfort, and a secure fit when you slip the shoe on.
Do these shoes offer arch support?
They feature a Skechers Memory Foam™ insole that provides cushioning and adapts to the foot, offering a comfortable feel for many users during casual wear. For individuals requiring specific orthopedic arch support, it's advisable to consult with a podiatrist.
What does the BOBS® commitment mean?
BOBS® from Skechers® partners with animal welfare organizations. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of BOBS® products helps to save and improve the lives of animals in need.
Troubleshooting
Shoe feels too loose or too tight.
The laces are decorative and do not adjust the fit. The fit is determined by the slip-on entry and the internal construction. Ensure you have selected the correct size. If the shoe feels too loose, the Heel Pillow™ may not be engaging properly. If too tight, consider a half-size up if available.
Difficulty slipping the shoe on.
Ensure you are pushing your foot straight into the shoe. The Heel Pillow™ is designed to hold the shoe in place, so a slight angle might be needed initially. Some users find it easier to slightly loosen the faux laces before slipping on.
Cushioning feels less supportive over time.
The Skechers Memory Foam™ insole may compact slightly with extended use. Ensure the shoes are being used appropriately for their intended casual wear and not for high-impact activities. Machine washing according to instructions can help refresh the materials.
Knit upper shows signs of wear.
The knit upper is designed for flexibility but can be prone to snagging. Be mindful of sharp objects. Gentle cleaning with a damp cloth or machine washing on a delicate cycle should help maintain its appearance.
