Setup
Before your first use, ensure the boots are `laced securely` but not uncomfortably tight. Take a few minutes to walk around and allow the leather upper to begin molding to your foot shape. It's often beneficial to break in new boots during light training sessions before competitive matches.
Compatibility
These boots feature a `Multi-Ground (MG)` soleplate, making them compatible with various football playing surfaces, including:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches.
Avoid using MG boots on very soft, muddy natural grass (where SG studs are better) or older, abrasive artificial turf (where AG specific soles might offer more durability).
Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your `leather` football boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or cloth. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down the leather upper.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as these can dry out and crack the leather. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft and prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage.
