Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Academy MG boots is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure laces are securely tied to provide a snug, comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find what feels best for your foot.
- First Wear: Due to the 'zero break-in' design, these boots are ready to wear for training or matches immediately. However, it's always recommended to wear them for a short training session first to fully adapt to their feel before a competitive game.
Compatibility
- Pitch Types: The 'MG' (Multi-Ground) soleplate is designed for optimal performance on both natural grass (firm ground) and artificial turf surfaces. This makes them a versatile choice for players who play on various fields.
- Foot Type: The FlyTouch Lite upper and moulded foam pods are designed to conform to a wide range of foot shapes for a comfortable fit.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After every use, remove excess dirt and mud from the soleplate and upper. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to gently clean the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage.
- Insoles: Remove insoles occasionally to air them out and prevent odors.
- Lace Maintenance: Check laces for wear and replace them if they become frayed.
