Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Application
- Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose material. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth. For best results, particularly on new or porous surfaces, apply a suitable primer or base coat.
- Mixing: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Do not dilute unless specified by instructions, as this can affect the finish and color depth.
- Application Tools: Use a good quality brush for cutting in and a medium pile roller for larger areas. Apply two coats for optimal coverage and color richness, allowing adequate drying time between coats.
- Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Compatibility
This paint is specifically formulated for walls and ceilings. It is generally compatible with plaster, plasterboard, and other common interior wall surfaces. For other surfaces like wood or metal, a specific primer or alternative product may be required.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Due to its washable formulation, minor marks and dirt can be gently wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners or scrubbing, which could damage the velvet matt finish.
- Storage: Store the paint in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent drying out. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Disposal: Dispose of unused paint and containers responsibly according to local regulations.
