Yes, the moisture-wicking properties and lightweight design make them an excellent choice for outdoor running in warm conditions.
This variant corresponds to a UK size 16. Please refer to the Under Armour size chart for specific waist and hip measurements to ensure the best slim fit.
These shorts are designed specifically for gym and training activities; they are not intended for use as swimwear and may not hold up well in chlorine.
HeatGear is a fabric technology designed to pull sweat away from your body and push it to the surface of the garment so it can evaporate, keeping you cool.
Machine wash cold with like colors, avoid fabric softeners, and tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
They feature a slim-fit design that sits close to the body, but they are focused on performance comfort rather than medical-grade compression.
Ensure you are wearing the correct size; the slim-fit nature of these shorts requires accurate sizing to avoid discomfort.
Avoid using fabric softeners, as they leave a residue that clogs the pores of the technical fabric, preventing moisture management.
To ensure your Under Armour shorts maintain their performance characteristics, proper care is required. Always machine wash in cold water with similar colors to prevent dye transfer. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh detergents, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking properties of the HeatGear fabric. It is recommended to hang dry or tumble dry on a low setting; avoid high heat, which may damage the elasticity of the fit. Regarding compatibility, these shorts are designed for an adult female fit (UK size 16 for this specific XL variant) and are best paired with other moisture-wicking athletic tops to maximize overall temperature regulation.
