Full details

Its key benefit is the ultra-tight, second-skin fit that enhances freedom of movement while wicking away sweat for comfort. FAQs
What is HeatGear® fabric?
HeatGear® is Under Armour's original performance baselayer fabric, designed to be ultra-lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying to keep athletes cool and comfortable.
What does 'ultra-tight fit' mean?
This refers to a compression fit, meaning the garment fits very snugly against the skin, like a second skin, to provide support and reduce drag.
Can I wear these for casual activities?
While designed for performance, they can be worn for casual activities if you prefer the support and feel of a compression baselayer. However, their primary function is athletic performance.
How do I know if I have the right size?
The garment should fit snugly without restricting circulation. If you experience significant discomfort or digging in, consider sizing up. Refer to the brand's sizing chart for detailed measurements.
Are these suitable for cold weather?
HeatGear® is optimized for warmer temperatures and training in conditions where you need to stay cool. For cold weather, Under Armour offers ColdGear® products.
What is the inseam length?
The inseam for this specific model is 8 cm.
Can these be worn under jeans or regular pants?
Yes, their sleek design and moisture-wicking properties make them suitable to wear as a baselayer under other clothing for added comfort and performance.
Troubleshooting
Chafing despite flatlock seams
Ensure the garment is the correct size and not too tight. Wash the garment before first use as per care instructions.
Fabric feels less breathable over time
Check care instructions and ensure no fabric softeners were used, as they can clog the fabric's pores. Wash with a mild detergent without additives.
Waistband losing elasticity
Avoid high heat in washing and drying. Air drying or low heat tumble drying is recommended to preserve elasticity.
Moisture not wicking effectively
Ensure the garment is not overly saturated with sweat or detergent residue. Wash with like colors using a small amount of mild detergent.
