Full details
These Under Armour HeatGear® Shorty Women's 3" Shorts are designed for adult females engaged in high-intensity training, on-field competitions, and gym workouts, especially in warm weather. They offer a key benefit of superior moisture-wicking and a second-skin, compression fit for maximum comfort and performance. A potential caveat is that the 3-inch inseam may be shorter than some prefer for full coverage during dynamic movements.

FAQs
What is HeatGear® fabric?
HeatGear® is Under Armour's original high-performance baselayer fabric. It is designed to be ultra-lightweight, breathable, quick-drying, and stretchy, keeping athletes cool and comfortable in warm conditions.
What activities are these shorts best suited for?
These shorts are ideal for on-field/on-court competition, in-gym lifting, HIIT workouts, and general training, particularly in warm weather.
What does 'compression fit' mean?
Compression fit means the shorts offer an ultra-tight, second-skin feel that is designed to support muscles and reduce fatigue during athletic performance.
How do I care for these shorts to maintain their performance?
Machine wash cold with like colors, do not use bleach, and tumble dry on low. Avoid fabric softeners as they can affect the moisture-wicking properties.
Do these shorts have pockets?
No, these specific HeatGear® Shorty shorts do not feature any pockets.
What is the inseam length?
The inseam length for these shorts is 3 inches (approximately 8 cm).
Are these shorts suitable for all body types?
These shorts are designed for adult females with a slim fit and compression. While they aim for a comfortable fit, individual preferences for fit and coverage may vary.
Troubleshooting
Shorts feel too tight or restrictive.
Ensure you have selected the correct size according to the size chart. If still too tight, consider a different style with a less compressive fit.
Fabric is not drying quickly.
Check that fabric softener was not used during washing. Ensure the dryer is on a low setting or air dry.
Chafing occurs during activity.
Confirm the shorts are the correct size and fit smoothly. The ergonomic seams are designed to prevent chafing; ensure they lie flat against the skin.
Waistband is uncomfortable or slips.
Ensure the waistband is positioned correctly at the natural waist. If it consistently slips, the size may be too large.
