No, it features a specialized nylon plate designed to offer a balance between speed-oriented propulsion and everyday training comfort.
Yes, many runners find them capable for race distances, though they are primarily categorized as performance trainers.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap and gently wipe the affected areas. Avoid soaking the shoes or using harsh chemicals.
The Endorphin Speed 5 typically fits true to size for most runners, but it is recommended to have about a thumb's width of space at the toe.
The Endorphin Speed 5 is a neutral running shoe. If you require significant stability or arch support, consider using a custom orthotic insole.
The shoe's geometry is designed for efficiency; ensure you are lacing them properly to allow for natural foot splay and give your feet 20-30 miles to adapt to the plate's rocker profile.
Spot clean only using a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Do not scrub harshly as this may compromise the detail-rich pattern.
To ensure the longevity of your trainers, always untie the laces before putting the shoes on or taking them off to prevent stretching the heel collar. Because these are performance shoes, avoid using them for heavy gym lifting or cross-training that involves lateral movements. For cleaning, remove surface dirt with a soft-bristled brush and clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap; never place them in a washing machine or dryer, as the heat can damage the integrity of the foam and adhesives.
