Yes, the combination of responsive cushioning and the nylon plate makes them highly capable for long-distance efforts.
The XT-900 rubber is durable, typically providing good traction for 300-500 miles, depending on your running surface and gait.
No, it is a nylon plate designed to provide a more forgiving and versatile ride compared to stiff carbon plates.
While they perform best on roads, the XT-900 outsole can handle light, maintained paths, but they are not designed for technical trails.
The Endorphin Speed 5 is a neutral trainer.
Use a soft brush to remove dried dirt, then gently wipe with mild soap and a damp cloth.
Ensure your laces are tightened securely through the eyelets to lock the midfoot in place.
Allow the shoe to reach room temperature before your run, as TPU-based foams like PWRRUN PB can firm up slightly in extreme cold.
For the best performance, ensure you select your correct size to allow for natural foot swelling during runs. These shoes are best suited for neutral runners. To care for your trainers, avoid machine washing; instead, wipe them down with a damp cloth after runs in muddy conditions. Remove the insoles to air dry if they become damp, and keep the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the foam from degrading.
