FAQs
Is the Endorphin Azura a stability shoe?
No, it is a neutral trainer designed for speed, focusing on energy return and efficiency rather than motion control.
Can I use these for marathon distances?
Yes, the cushioning is designed for comfort over various distances, though individual preference for support levels will vary.
What is the best way to clean these shoes?
Hand wash with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
Are these shoes suitable for gym workouts?
They are primarily designed for running. For heavy lifting, a flatter, more stable shoe is recommended.
How often should I replace these trainers?
Typically, performance running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and weight.
Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure on the top of the foot
Try an alternative lacing pattern, such as the window lacing method, to relieve pressure on the midfoot.
Traction issues on wet pavement
Ensure the XT-900 outsole is free of debris and small stones that might be lodged in the tread patterns.
Pros and Cons

- Lightweight build suitable for speed work
Cons
- Not intended for technical trail or off-road use
- Performance fit may feel snug for those with wider feet
- Less stability compared to maximalist support shoes
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your trainers, focus on proper sizing and maintenance:
- Sizing: These shoes are available in standard adult UK sizing; ensure you have about a thumb's width of space at the front of the toe box for optimal comfort.
- Break-in: While the shoes feel comfortable out of the box, perform a few shorter runs to allow the foam to adapt to your foot strike pattern.
- Cleaning: After muddy runs, use a soft brush and mild soap to clean the upper. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can damage the foam properties.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the rubber outsole and upper materials from prematurely degrading.
