The ASICS Gel-1130 is a lifestyle running sneaker for adults seeking a blend of retro aesthetics and modern comfort. Its key benefit lies in its distinctive chunky silhouette and fusion of vintage-inspired style with contemporary design elements, featuring GEL cushioning and TRUSSTIC support. A potential caveat for some users might be its specific retro design, which may not suit all fashion preferences.

The ASICS Gel-1130 is designed as a lifestyle running sneaker, inspired by running shoe aesthetics. While it offers comfort and cushioning for everyday wear, it is not optimized for serious athletic running training. For dedicated running, consider ASICS performance running models.
ASICS GEL technology is a silicone-based cushioning system located in the heel and forefoot. It's designed to absorb shock effectively, reducing stress on your joints and providing a softer landing during impact.
TRUSSTIC support is a feature that enhances stability and midfoot integrity. It helps to provide torsional rigidity to the shoe, preventing excessive twisting and supporting the arch of the foot.
Refer to the size guide provided by the retailer or ASICS. Measure your foot length and compare it to the brand's sizing chart. The ASICS Gel-1130 in this guide is a UK size 11.
It is not recommended to machine wash these sneakers. Machine washing can damage the materials, adhesives, and cushioning systems. Hand cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap is the preferred method.
The ASICS Gel-1130 draws inspiration from the design elements of the GEL-KAYANO 14, a popular model known for its technical features and aesthetic.
The sneaker features a mesh upper for breathability and a durable rubber sole. Specific paneling may include synthetic materials for structure and design accents.
Ensure laces are tied securely with a double knot. Consider replacing laces with a textured pair that offers more grip.
This is common with new footwear. Wear the shoes for short periods initially to allow them to break in. Ensure the fit is correct by adjusting the laces.
Gently clean the mesh with a soft brush and a mild soap and water solution. Rinse with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Setup: The ASICS Gel-1130 requires no specific setup; simply unbox and wear. Ensure the laces are adjusted for a comfortable and secure fit.
Compatibility: This sneaker is designed for adult wear and is compatible with a wide range of casual apparel. It functions best as a lifestyle shoe for everyday activities.
Care: To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Gel-1130s:
