While based on running styles, the GEL-1130 is primarily a lifestyle trainer intended for casual daily use rather than competitive long-distance running.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap for synthetic areas. Avoid using harsh chemicals or industrial cleaning agents.
Yes, the insoles are typically removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if required.
Yes, they generally follow standard UK adult sizing, providing a locked-in fit around the midfoot.
The breathable mesh is not waterproof. They are suitable for light wear, but avoid deep puddles to protect the integrity of the materials.
The trainers feature a blend of textile and mesh for breathability, combined with synthetic reinforcements for durability.
Use a dry soft-bristle brush to gently remove loose particles before spot cleaning with a damp cloth.
Ensure a double-knot is used, or consider replacing the laces with a slightly more textured alternative if friction is the issue.
Remove the insole and allow it to air out for 24 hours, or consider replacing it with an aftermarket support insole.
To ensure your ASICS GEL-1130 trainers remain in top condition, follow these simple guidelines. For sizing, these are standard adult trainers; ensure you verify your specific UK size. When cleaning, remove surface dirt with a soft brush. Use a damp cloth with a mild detergent for spot cleaning the textile and synthetic upper—avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the foam midsole and adhesive bonds.
