The Dunlop Protomastor Safety Wellington is designed for professionals working in food processing, agriculture, and environments where chemical exposure is a risk. These boots provide a critical safety barrier with a reinforced steel toe cap and a fully waterproof construction that protects against oils, fats, and harsh disinfectants. While they offer industrial-grade protection and ergonomic support, users should note that as a heavy-duty PVC boot, they are best suited for functional work environments rather than extended casual wear.

While they feature a steel toe cap, they are optimized for chemical and wet environments. They can be used for construction, but they are specifically designed for food processing and agriculture.
SRA is a slip-resistance rating tested on ceramic tile floors covered with a dilute soap solution, indicating high traction in wet conditions.
The Protomastor is not insulated for extreme cold. For freezer or cold-store work, consider Dunlop Purofort models which offer thermal insulation.
Yes, they feature antistatic properties to help minimize the accumulation of static electricity.
These boots generally fit true to size, but consider the thickness of the socks you intend to wear during your shift.
Clean the soles thoroughly to remove embedded debris or compacted grime that can compromise the SRA tread pattern.
Due to the lack of breathability in waterproof PVC, perspiration can accumulate. Ensure you wear moisture-wicking socks and allow the boots to air out completely between shifts.
As these are slip-on boots, no setup is required. To maintain the integrity of the PVC/Nitrile material, rinse the boots with clean water and a mild detergent after exposure to heavy oils or chemicals. Avoid storing them in direct, prolonged sunlight, as UV exposure can degrade the polymer over time. Inspect the steel toe area and the sole treads periodically for cracks or severe wear to ensure they continue to meet safety requirements. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
