The North Face Quest DryVent Windproof Waterproof Jacket is designed for adult men who need a reliable, lightweight outer shell for hiking or daily urban commuting. Its primary strength lies in its DryVent technology, which provides a balance of windproof, waterproof protection and breathability, keeping you dry from both external elements and internal perspiration. While the regular fit allows for layering, users should note that as a lightweight shell, it is not an insulated piece and will require additional mid-layers for extreme cold-weather protection.

This is a shell jacket with no built-in insulation. It is designed to be worn over layers during colder months.
It is recommended to air dry this jacket to preserve the integrity of the waterproofing technology.
You can use the drawstring at the hem and the hood adjustment to tighten the fit and block out the elements.
This model features two zippered front pockets on the exterior; it does not include an interior dedicated pocket.
No, the hood is a fixed part of the jacket design.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Re-apply a waterproofing spray designed for technical outdoor gear.
Ensure you are using moisture-wicking base layers; avoid cotton, which holds moisture against your skin.
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always follow the care label. This garment is machine washable at 40 degrees. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the pores of the waterproof membrane and reduce breathability. Ensure all zips are closed before washing. When air-drying, hang the jacket in a shaded, well-ventilated area rather than direct heat sources, which can damage synthetic fibers. Because the fit is a standard men's 'S', it is compatible with most mid-layer garments from The North Face, allowing for modular temperature control.
