This jacket is a waterproof shell without built-in insulation. It is best used as a top layer over a fleece or sweater during cold weather.
It features a technical DryVent shell construction designed to be lightweight and breathable.
No, the three-piece hood is permanently attached for maximum waterproof protection.
Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleaching and ironing; air dry in the shade.
The pockets have secure-zip closures, but they are not fully waterproof, so avoid keeping moisture-sensitive items inside during heavy storms.
Yes, it includes an internal ID label to help keep track of the garment at school.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may have worn off; consider using a specialized re-waterproofing spray.
Ensure the elasticated rain-guard is pulled fully flush against the forehead to secure the fit.
Check the zipper track for debris or fabric caught in the teeth and gently clear the obstruction.
To ensure the longevity of the waterproof coating, avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners when cleaning. The jacket is best washed in cold water on a delicate cycle and hung to air dry. Because this is a shell, it is fully compatible with fleece or mid-layer vests underneath, allowing you to adapt the jacket for changing temperatures throughout the seasons. Always check that the hook-and-loop flap is pressed down firmly after zipping the jacket to ensure the main zipper is protected from water ingress.
