The North Face Antora Jacket is an essential outer layer designed for active adults who need reliable protection against unpredictable weather. Featuring a high-performance DryVent 2L shell, it excels at keeping the wearer dry and comfortable in wet or windy environments, making it ideal for daily commutes or light hiking. While it offers superior weatherproofing, users should note that as a shell, it is best utilized as part of a layering system rather than as a primary source of heavy insulation in extreme sub-zero temperatures.

Yes, it is designed for outdoor activity, though it is best suited for day-hiking in wet or windy conditions.
Store it hanging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the waterproof membrane.
The DWR finish may have worn off. Wash the garment and apply a DWR spray treatment to restore water repellency.
Ensure you are using appropriate moisture-wicking base layers. Even breathable fabrics can struggle if your base layer is made of cotton or heavy non-breathable materials.
To ensure the longevity of your Antora Jacket, proper care is essential. When fitting, ensure the internal hem cinch-cord is adjusted snugly before heading out into high wind. For cleaning, machine wash the jacket in warm water using a mild, technical-fabric-safe detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these can degrade the waterproof coating. Tumble dry on a low setting or air dry, and consider reapplying a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray if you notice water no longer beads up on the outer surface of the shell. Always close all zippers and secure the hook-and-loop closures before washing.
