The North Face Antora Jacket is designed for adult men who need a reliable, high-performance outer layer for unpredictable outdoor conditions. It features a seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell that provides excellent waterproof and windproof protection while maintaining breathability, making it ideal for hiking or daily commutes in light to moderate rain. While the jacket offers robust weather resistance, it is a shell garment, meaning it lacks an insulated lining and requires layering underneath for use in colder temperatures.

No, the Antora Jacket is a seam-sealed shell designed for rain and wind protection. It is not insulated.
It can work as an outer shell over insulated layers, but it lacks specific features like a powder skirt or lift-pass pockets found in dedicated ski gear.
Keep the garment clean. Dirt and body oils can affect breathability and waterproof performance. Wash regularly following the manufacturer's care instructions.
The XL is designed to be a standard, regular fit, allowing for comfortable movement and room to wear mid-layer garments underneath.
No, the three-piece hood is integrated into the jacket design for maximum protection.
The DWR finish has likely worn off. Reapply a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment specifically designed for waterproof technical shells.
While breathable, the jacket can be overwhelmed by high exertion. Ensure you are wearing moisture-wicking base layers and adjust ventilation by unzipping the front slightly if needed.
To ensure the longevity of your Antora Jacket, proper care is essential. Always follow the garment's wash tag instructions, typically involving machine washing on a gentle cycle with a technical fabric detergent to maintain the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the waterproof coating. The jacket is highly compatible with other layering pieces; its standard fit allows for mid-layers like sweaters or thin down jackets. For the best performance, ensure the front stormflap is completely fastened before heading out into heavy precipitation.
