The North Face Nuketo Wind Jacket is a versatile, lightweight outer layer designed for adults who need reliable protection against wind chill during outdoor activities. Its primary benefit is the ability to trap body heat while remaining breathable, making it an excellent choice for layering over base gear. While it excels in blustery conditions, users should note that this fleece-material piece is optimized for wind resistance rather than heavy-duty, waterproof rain protection.

The Nuketo Wind Jacket is designed primarily for wind resistance and thermal layering; it is not classified as waterproof.
It will provide some basic protection, but it will eventually soak through in heavy rain. It is better suited for dry, windy, or cool conditions.
No, the hood is a fixed 3-piece design and cannot be removed.
Yes, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, but avoid fabric softeners to maintain the fabric's integrity.
Regular fit is a standard cut that is neither too tight nor too baggy, intended to provide comfort and room for base layers.
Yes, the secure zip pockets and the chest pocket are sized to accommodate most standard modern smartphones.
Clear any debris or fabric caught in the teeth and gently rub a graphite pencil or specialized zipper lubricant along the tracks.
Use a fabric shaver or a sweater stone to gently remove pilling without damaging the underlying fleece fibers.
Check the cord lock for obstructions and ensure the tension spring is moving freely; replace the cord lock if it fails to grip.
To get the most out of your Nuketo Wind Jacket, pair it with a moisture-wicking synthetic or merino wool base layer to ensure maximum breathability. To maintain the fleece material, always machine wash in cold water using a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these can degrade the material's performance fibers. For drying, it is recommended to tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry to preserve the jacket’s shape and fit. Always ensure all zippers are closed before washing to prevent damage to the fabric or the zipper tracks.
