The North Face Nuketo Wind Jacket is a versatile, lightweight outer layer designed for active adults who need reliable protection against wind chill and blustery conditions. Crafted from durable ripstop polyester, this jacket excels at blocking drafts while maintaining a comfortable, regular fit for everyday wear. While it is excellent at shedding light moisture and cutting through wind, users should note that it is designed as a wind-blocking shell rather than a heavy-duty waterproof rain parka.

The Nuketo Wind Jacket is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain or drizzle, but it is not a fully waterproof rain jacket.
While it is lightweight and packable, it does not feature a dedicated 'self-stow' pocket.
A regular fit means the jacket is cut with enough room for light layering underneath without being overly baggy or restrictive.
Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach or use fabric softeners.
The hood features elasticated binding for a secure fit, but it is a fixed hood and does not have drawcord adjustments. The cuffs also utilize elasticated binding.
Ensure the internal storm flap is pulled away from the zipper track when zipping up. If the track is clean of debris, use a zipper lubricant if necessary.
The DWR finish may be wearing off. Clean the jacket and consider applying a spray-on technical fabric water-repellent treatment to restore performance.
This jacket requires no formal setup; simply adjust the internal hem cord to your desired fit when putting it on. It is designed to be compatible with standard base layers. To maintain the water-resistant coating and fabric integrity, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent and avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR (durable water repellent) finish. For best results, hang dry the jacket in a shaded area away from direct sunlight, or tumble dry on a low, cool setting if the care label permits.
