Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
First Use & Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely. Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is firmly seated at the back. Pull the tongue into position.
- Tightening: Begin lacing from the bottom, pulling each section snugly but not too tightly. Ensure even tension across the foot. Tie a secure knot.
- Break-In: While designed for comfort out of the box, it's recommended to wear the boots for a few short training sessions before a full match. This allows the boots to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort.
Compatibility
- Playing Surfaces: These Multi-Ground (MG) boots are specifically designed and compatible with firm natural grass pitches (FG) and artificial turf (AG). They offer a versatile solution for these common surfaces.
- Not Recommended For: Avoid using these boots on very soft/muddy natural grass (where Soft Ground - SG - studs are needed) or very hard/abrasive surfaces like concrete or indoor courts (where specialized futsal/court shoes are required). Using them on unsuitable surfaces can lead to discomfort, poor traction, and accelerated wear.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Immediately after playing, wipe off excess dirt and mud. Use a soft brush or cloth with lukewarm water. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Remove Insole: If possible, remove the insoles after each use to allow for better air circulation and faster drying.
- Air Dry: Always air dry your boots at room temperature. Stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Never place them near direct heat sources (radiators, dryers, direct sunlight) as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Deodorize: Use boot deodorizers or baking soda sachets to prevent odor buildup.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A breathable boot bag is ideal for transport and storage.
- Inspect Regularly: Periodically check the studs, soleplate, and upper for signs of wear or damage. Early detection can prevent minor issues from becoming major problems.
