Nike Tiempo Legend - Academy - Soft Ground Football Boots - 8 UK

These Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Academy SG-Pro Anti-Clog boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) pitches. This includes wet, muddy, natural grass surfaces where maximum traction and stability are needed.

No, a significant benefit of the `FlyTouch Lite` upper is its `zero break-in time`. You can expect comfort and performance from the very first wear.

After each use, remove loose mud with a stiff brush or scraper. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Air dry naturally away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

No, these boots are not recommended for artificial grass (AG) or firm ground (FG) pitches. Using them on unsuitable surfaces can cause premature wear to the studs and soleplate, compromise your grip, and potentially lead to injury.

Anti-Clog technology is a special treatment applied to the soleplate that makes it difficult for mud to stick. This helps prevent mud buildup, keeping your boots lighter and ensuring consistent traction and agility throughout the game, even on the muddiest pitches.

Replacement studs are not included with the boots. A stud key, which is necessary for adjusting or replacing metal-tipped studs, is also sold separately. You can purchase compatible replacement studs from Nike retailers or authorized sports equipment stores.

The `FlyTouch Lite` engineered upper offers the soft, comfortable feel and excellent ball control of natural leather but without its common drawbacks. It resists overstretching, maintains its shape better, and requires no break-in period, while also being lighter and more durable.

While Anti-Clog significantly reduces mud buildup, extreme conditions can still lead to some accumulation. Ensure the soleplate is clean before play. After use, scrape off excess mud immediately and clean thoroughly with water and a brush. Check for any damage to the soleplate that might affect the Anti-Clog properties.

Verify that you are playing on a soft-ground (wet, muddy natural grass) pitch. These boots are not designed for firm ground or artificial turf. Inspect the metal-tipped studs for wear or damage; worn studs reduce traction. Ensure studs are tightened correctly (using a stud key, sold separately).

Although these boots claim zero break-in, slight discomfort can occur due to individual foot shape. Ensure you have the correct size. Try different football socks (thicker or thinner) to find the best fit. If discomfort persists, consider wearing them for shorter periods during training to allow them to fully conform to your foot.

The `FlyTouch Lite` material is engineered to resist overstretching. This issue is unlikely, but if observed, ensure boots are dried correctly away from heat sources and stored properly. Avoid using harsh chemicals during cleaning that could compromise the material's integrity. Ensure the laces are not overtightened excessively.

Ensure you are using the correct stud key (sold separately) for metal-tipped studs. Mud or debris can sometimes seize studs; clean around the stud base before attempting removal. Applying a small amount of lubricant (e.g., WD-40, sparingly) around the stud thread and letting it sit for a few minutes might help loosen stubborn studs.
