Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because these are specialized hiking shoes, ensure you pair them with moisture-wicking hiking socks to maximize the benefits of the GORE-TEX liner. To maintain the integrity of the materials, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after particularly muddy hikes and remove the insoles to air-dry naturally. Avoid exposing the shoes to direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, as this can degrade the adhesives and the GORE-TEX membrane. If the tread becomes clogged with packed mud, use a soft-bristled brush to gently dislodge debris after the mud has dried.
