Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Salomon X-Alp Trainers last, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Because of the leather construction, wear them for shorter sessions initially to allow the material to conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth after dusty trail use. For deeper cleaning, use a dedicated leather cleaner.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner every few months to prevent the material from cracking or drying out.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can degrade the leather and the adhesive bonds.
