The On Running Cloudvista 3 is designed for adult trail runners who demand a balance of agility and comfort on technical off-road terrain. Featuring the signature CloudTec and Helion cushioning technologies, these shoes provide a smooth ride, though users should note they are specifically optimized for trail environments rather than heavy-duty mud or extreme alpine scrambling.

The Cloudvista 3 features a breathable mesh upper, which is designed for ventilation rather than waterproofing.
While they can handle short sections of pavement, they are specifically engineered for trail terrain; consistent road use will increase wear on the outsole lugs.
Use a soft brush and cool water to remove mud. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the specialized materials.
The fit is generally standard; if you have very wide feet, you may want to try a half-size up to accommodate the mesh upper's structure.
The shoe is best suited for mixed-terrain trails, including dirt, gravel, and light technical rock sections.
Ensure the lace closure is secure and consider using gaiters if running on particularly sandy or loose trails.
While Missiongrip is high-traction, excessive mud buildup can reduce grip. Stop to clear the lugs of compacted mud to restore performance.
Re-lace the shoes using a runner’s loop (lace lock) method to secure the heel more firmly against the padded collar.
To ensure the best experience, ensure you are wearing appropriate moisture-wicking socks for trail activity. After use, remove loose dirt by tapping the outsoles together; if the shoes are caked in mud, rinse them with cool water and a soft brush. Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can compromise the integrity of the foam cushioning and adhesives. Regularly inspect the lugs for debris to maintain consistent traction performance.
