Setup, Compatibility & Care
First Use and Break-in
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced snugly but not overly tight. Use a traditional criss-cross lacing pattern.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods during light training sessions to allow the `K-BETTER™` material to mold to your foot. This minimizes discomfort during your first match.
Ground Compatibility
These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are optimized for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very wet/soft ground (SG) may compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury due to inadequate traction or excessive stud pressure.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every session, remove excess mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. This prevents debris from drying and hardening, which can damage the upper material.
- Wipe Down: Gently wipe the `K-BETTER™` upper with a damp cloth to remove any remaining grime.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the material to stiffen or crack.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb excess moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never machine wash your football boots, as this can severely damage the materials and adhesives.
