Regatta Kids' Puddle IV Puddle Suit - Blue - 2-3 Years

The Isolite 5000/10000 fabric is lightweight, waterproof, and breathable, offering excellent weather protection without making the wearer feel hot or restricted.

The taped seams are designed to provide complete waterproof protection by sealing the stitching lines, preventing water from penetrating through.

The suit is primarily designed for waterproofing and wind resistance. For very cold weather, it's recommended to layer warm clothing underneath the suit.

A 'grown-on hood' means the hood is permanently attached to the suit, rather than being detachable. This ensures it cannot be lost and provides a continuous barrier against rain.

Consider your child's current size and height. As this suit is designed to be worn over clothes, some parents opt for a size up for extra room, though the elasticated waist and cuffs help create a secure fit even if it's slightly larger.

The reflective trim is designed to withstand normal wear and washing according to the care instructions. Excessive abrasion or harsh washing cycles may affect its longevity.

This can be due to high activity levels causing internal condensation, or if the suit is worn in very humid conditions. Ensure the hood is properly sealed and consider layering with moisture-wicking base layers.

While the suit has taped seams for waterproofness, check that all seams are intact and the fabric's Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish is still effective. Re-apply DWR treatment if necessary, following product instructions.

Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper. Gently try to move it back and forth. If it remains stiff, a small amount of wax or silicone lubricant applied to the zipper teeth can help.
