Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, and grease. Remove any loose or flaking paint. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth. For bare or porous surfaces, a suitable primer or mist coat (diluted paint) may be required.
- Stirring: Thoroughly stir the paint before and periodically during use to ensure colour consistency and even application.
- Application: Apply with a good quality brush or roller. For best results, apply two coats, allowing sufficient drying time between coats.
- Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Compatibility
This paint is formulated for use on interior walls and ceilings, including plaster, plasterboard, and other common building surfaces. It is not recommended for exterior use or on surfaces that require a higher sheen or specific protective qualities, such as floors, skirting boards, or metal.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning Painted Surfaces: For light marks, gently wipe the painted surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the matt finish.
- Storing Leftover Paint: Store in a cool, dry place, away from frost and direct sunlight. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out.
- Tool Cleaning: Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use with warm soapy water.
