Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
For optimal comfort and performance, ensure the shoe fits snugly but without pinching. Wear your preferred running socks when trying them on. Lace them securely but not so tight as to restrict blood flow. Allow for a break-in period of a few short runs before tackling longer distances.
Compatibility
These shoes are best suited for soft, muddy, and technical trails where aggressive grip is beneficial. They are compatible with wet and variable weather conditions thanks to their Gore-Tex waterproofing. While versatile, they are less optimized for prolonged use on hard-packed roads or extremely rocky, dry trails where a less aggressive lug pattern might be more comfortable.
Care
After use, remove any large debris by hand. For muddy shoes, allow them to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources. Once dry, gently brush off any remaining dirt. If necessary, you can lightly rinse them with water, but avoid machine washing as this can damage the waterproof membrane and materials. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew. Periodically check the lugs for wear and tear.
