What is the primary difference from previous models?

Are the insoles removable?
Yes, the plush sockliner is removable if you need to insert custom orthotics.
Troubleshooting
Foot slippage inside the shoe
Re-lace the shoes using a runner's knot to better lock the heel into the Active Foot Frame.
Excessive debris inside the shoe
Consider using a lightweight trail gaiter if the terrain involves significant amounts of loose shale or sand.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Torrent 4 trainers, always ensure the laces are properly tensioned before setting out, as the Active Foot Frame performs best when the foot is snug. For cleaning, remove loose mud using a soft-bristled brush once dry. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents, as these can break down the adhesives and foam properties. If the shoes become wet inside, remove the sockliner and air dry them away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent midsole warping.
