FAQs

Are these shoes true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to size. If your child is between sizes, we recommend opting for the larger size to allow for natural growth.

Can these be machine washed?

No, you should never machine wash Jordan trainers. It can damage the leather, glue, and overall structural integrity of the shoe.

Are they suitable for sports?

While they feature classic basketball technology, they are primarily lifestyle trainers. They are perfect for casual play and everyday wear, but dedicated athletic performance shoes may be better for intense team sports.

How do I remove dirt from the elephant print?

Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove loose dirt. For deeper grime, a slightly damp microfiber cloth should suffice.

What is the primary material?

The primary material used in these trainers is premium leather, providing a mix of durability and style.

Troubleshooting

Visible scuffs on the white leather

Use a specialized leather eraser or a damp cloth with a tiny amount of leather cleaner to gently buff away the marks.

Creasing at the toe box

This is a natural characteristic of leather footwear. Use a shoe tree or stuffed paper when storing the shoes to help them maintain their shape.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality leather construction for durability
Classic design that holds long-term style appeal
Responsive cushioning suitable for active children
Versatile color palettes that match most casual clothing

Cons

Light-colored upper is prone to showing dirt and scuffs
Leather material may require a break-in period
Lace-up closure may be challenging for younger children who have not mastered tying shoes

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Jordan 3 Retros remain in the best possible condition, follow these guidelines:

Breaking In: Wear them for short periods initially to allow the leather to flex naturally to the shape of the foot.
Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap for surface marks. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as this can degrade the leather and the elephant-print pattern.
Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to prevent material fading.
Maintenance: Apply a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray to help protect the white upper from accidental spills and environmental dirt.
