Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Putting On: Gently pull the Dynamic Fit collar open using the finger loops at the front and back. Slide your foot in, ensuring the collar sits comfortably around your ankle. It should feel snug but not restrictive.
- Lacing: Lace the boots firmly but comfortably. Ensure no pressure points are created, as a proper lace-up contributes to the secure fit.
- Break-In Period: Like most high-performance football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or casual use before a full match to allow the materials to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
- Playing Surfaces: These are Multi-Ground (FG/MG) boots, meaning they are specifically designed for optimal performance on both:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and relatively dry.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
- Avoid Hard Surfaces: Do not use these boots on concrete, asphalt, or indoor court surfaces, as this will damage the studs and may void any warranty.
Care & Maintenance
Regular care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, remove excess mud and debris. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently wipe the upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Washing: For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not submerge the entire boot. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the materials and adhesives. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. A boot bag can protect them during transport.
- Inspect Regularly: Periodically check for any signs of wear, especially on the studs and soleplate, to ensure continued performance and safety.
