Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure you lace your boots snugly from bottom to top. Experiment with different lacing patterns (e.g., straight lacing, cross lacing) to find what feels most secure and comfortable for your foot shape. A properly tied knot will prevent loosening during play.
- Break-in Period: Like most new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before a full match to allow the materials to mold to your feet and prevent discomfort.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Multi-Ground (FG/MG) soleplate, meaning they are designed for optimal performance on:
- Firm Natural Grass (FG) pitches.
- Artificial Grass (MG) pitches.
Avoid using these boots on excessively hard ground, concrete, or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the studs and reduce their lifespan.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each session, remove excess dirt and debris from the upper and soleplate. Use a soft brush or cloth and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Stubborn Dirt: For tougher mud, a damp sponge or cloth can be effective. Ensure the studs are clear of any trapped mud or grass.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles and air them out. You can also use boot deodorizers or baking soda inside the boots.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them during transport.
