Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are securely tied to provide a snug fit without being overly tight. The Dynamic Fit collar should feel supportive around your ankle.
- Break-in: Like most football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before full-intensity matches to allow the materials to mold to your foot.
- Sock Choice: Wear performance football socks that provide cushioning and prevent slippage inside the boot for optimal comfort and fit.
Compatibility
These are MultiGround (FG/MG) football boots, meaning they are designed for use on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm, dry, or slightly wet.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on very wet, muddy natural grass (SG) or extremely hard artificial surfaces (TF/AG Pro for older turf) as this can damage the boots and increase the risk of injury.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, clean off any dirt, mud, or grass clippings. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or detergents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly check the studs and soleplate for wear and tear. Ensure laces are in good condition.
- Material Care: The NIKESKIN upper can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the entire boot in water for extended periods.
