The Nike Legend 10 Academy SG-PR Football Shoe in Blue, UK size 9, is designed for adult male players seeking a comfortable and secure fit for natural soft ground pitches. Its innovative tongue construction and natural contoured fit provide comfort and stability in key striking zones, ensuring the shoe conforms to your foot without over-stretching. While offering excellent traction on soft ground, remember its specialized stud configuration means it's not ideal for harder playing surfaces.

The Nike Legend 10 Academy SG-PR boots are specifically designed for natural soft ground (SG) pitches, which are typically wet or muddy. They provide optimal traction and performance on these surfaces due to their specialized stud configuration.
It is not recommended to use SG-PR boots on artificial turf (AG) or firm ground (FG) pitches. Doing so can damage the specialized studs, significantly reduce your grip, and potentially cause premature wear to the boot materials.
After each use, remove excess mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals. Stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and air dry them away from direct heat sources (like radiators or sunlight) to prevent material damage.
While the `natural, contoured fit` aims for immediate comfort, some football boots may benefit from a short break-in period. We recommend wearing them for a few light training sessions before a full match to allow them to fully adapt to your foot's shape.
SG-PR stands for 'Soft Ground-Pro'. It indicates that the boots feature a specialized stud configuration designed for maximum grip and stability on wet, muddy natural grass pitches. These usually feature longer, often conical, studs.
For most SG-PR boots, including this model, the studs are indeed replaceable. Regularly check them for wear and ensure they are tightened. You can purchase compatible replacement studs from Nike or authorized sports retailers to maintain optimal performance.
Regularly check all studs. For SG-PR boots, studs are often replaceable; ensure they are screwed in tightly before each use. Replace any missing or severely worn studs with compatible replacements.
Ensure you are using the boots on the correct surface (soft ground). If the pitch is too firm, SG-PR studs will not provide optimal grip. Also, clean any mud build-up between the studs after play, as this can reduce traction.
Ensure the boots are properly laced, not too tight or too loose. Wear appropriate football socks. The `natural, contoured fit` should reduce rubbing, but new boots may require a break-in period. If discomfort persists, double-check that the size is correct.
This can happen on very wet pitches. After use, clean thoroughly and stuff with newspaper to absorb moisture and help them dry out. Do not use direct heat, as this can damage the material.
Ensure you are not using the boots on surfaces they are not designed for (e.g., artificial turf or firm ground), as this can put undue stress on the material. Always follow proper cleaning and drying instructions to preserve material integrity.
