FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for outdoor volleyball?
No, the outsole is designed specifically for indoor hardwood or smooth court surfaces and may wear down quickly on outdoor concrete or asphalt.
Do these shoes run true to size?
The ASICS GEL-Rocket 12 generally fits true to standard athletic shoe sizing. It is recommended to compare with your existing ASICS running shoe size.
Can I remove the insoles?
Yes, the insoles are removable if you prefer to use custom orthotics.
Are these good for netball?
Yes, their stable platform and non-marking sole make them an excellent choice for court sports like netball.
How often should I replace these trainers?
For active players, it is recommended to replace them every 6-12 months, or sooner if you notice a significant decrease in cushioning or grip.
Troubleshooting
Sole losing grip on court
Clean the outsole with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust and floor debris.
Discomfort during extended play
Ensure the laces are tied securely to provide proper midfoot lockdown, or consider replacing the factory insole with one that provides specific arch support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your ASICS GEL-Rocket 12 trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Usage: Use these exclusively on clean indoor court surfaces to maintain the grip of the rubber outsoles.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the shoes in water or place them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the glue and foam integrity.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the rubber and mesh materials from drying out or discoloring.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, air-dry them at room temperature. Avoid using high-heat sources like hair dryers, which can warp the cushioning materials.
