The Clarks Somerset Flex Low Shoes are designed for active kids who need a reliable, everyday school or casual shoe that balances durability with a modern, sporty aesthetic. These leather shoes feature specialized odour control and an engineered sole unit to ensure all-day comfort and natural foot movement. While the high-quality leather provides excellent structure and support, potential users should note that as with all leather footwear, they require a short break-in period to achieve maximum comfort.

Yes, the black colourway and clean aesthetic make them a standard choice for most school uniforms.
Microban is an antimicrobial treatment that helps inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria, keeping the inside of the shoe fresh.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid heavy chemicals and let the leather dry naturally.
While the leather is durable and provides protection against light rain, these shoes are not marketed as fully waterproof.
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing for kids' footwear. We recommend measuring the foot with socks on to get the most accurate fit.
The shoes are designed for comfort out of the box, but you can use thin orthotic insoles if additional arch support is required.
Leather naturally stretches slightly with wear. Wear them for short periods at home to allow the material to conform to the foot shape.
Apply a small amount of quality leather conditioner or black shoe polish to restore the natural shine and protect the material.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently dislodge debris from the flex grooves to maintain maximum grip and flexibility.
To ensure the longevity of your Clarks Somerset Flex shoes, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. Since the upper is made of high-quality leather, use a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt after use. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents. For scuffs, a matching black leather polish or cream can be applied periodically to keep the material supple and maintain the deep black finish. Ensure the shoes are allowed to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack over time. When selecting your size, refer to standard UK sizing charts to ensure a proper fit that allows for natural growth and movement.
