The North Face Antora Rain Jacket is designed for adult women who need reliable weather protection for outdoor adventures or daily urban commutes. Featuring advanced DryVent technology, this jacket offers a robust barrier against wind and rain while remaining breathable enough for active use, though its heavier construction may feel less packable than ultralight emergency shells.

Yes, the Antora uses DryVent technology, which is a fully waterproof, windproof, and breathable material.
The jacket features a standard fit, which is designed to comfortably accommodate mid-layer garments like fleeces or light sweaters.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild technical detergent, avoiding fabric softeners, and tumble dry on low.
Yes, it features an adjustable three-piece hood for customized protection against the elements.
It serves well as a protective shell against wind and rain, but it does not have insulation, so it is best paired with warm layers for winter temperatures.
The DWR coating has likely worn off. Wash the jacket and re-apply a DWR spray treatment to restore water repellency.
While waterproof, if you are working very hard, you may experience condensation. Ensure you are using appropriate moisture-wicking base layers to manage internal humidity.
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always zip the front and close all hook-and-loop fasteners before washing. Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a mild technical garment detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can clog the pores of the waterproof membrane and degrade performance. To maintain the water-repellent (DWR) finish, tumble dry on low heat or follow the garment's internal care label. Compatibility-wise, the jacket's standard fit is perfect for wearing over a fleece mid-layer or a light thermal shirt during colder months.
